Why do the good men go?

WHY is it, that we, the electorate, with all the power, allow good men to resign who serve us well and tell the truth; but we allow poor politicians, who are continually lying to us, to keep their trappings of power and everything that goes with it and they don't resign? Why is that? British Masochism?

Is Blair likely to apologise to the nation and families of those killed in his unnecessary war, even?

Blair must know and now own up to the facts staring him in the face, that Iraq did not have the means of attacking us within 45 mins, nor at any time.

They didn't possess a bomber plane. Saying sorry for misleading Parliament, (I am not too certain whether the electorate were misled) and causing so much misery, may help to say something at least in support of his honesty and integrity, characteristics he is so proud of and on which he got rid of the good men of the BBC, who chose to question them.
