DO you have an hour or two to spare each week? The Vale of Evesham Volunteer Centre is seeking to recruit volunteers willing to befriend elderly and isolated individuals living in Evesham and outlying villages. All that is required is the willingness to make a regular commitment and a patient, sensitive and caring manner. If you think you could help please contact the centre manager on 01386 40165.

Have you suffered a stroke? Why not join Stroke 78 Social Club for bingo, outings, quizzes etc. They meet every third Tuesday of the month at the Coronation Hall, Evesham Community Hospital from 2pm to 4pm. For information contact Hilary on 01386 442910.

Are you interested in the web? Say It Yourself, a local self-advocacy charity is looking for volunteers to help with its new interactive web site, SIY Online (www.siy.info).
