STRATFORD Racecourse is hosting a major horse racing event on Friday, March 12 when a panel of racing celebrities will be previewing the Cheltenham Festival at a celebrity dinner.
The star names attracted to this high profile event are Cornelius Lysaght, the voice of racing on Radio Five Live, Peter Scud-amore, former champion jockey and now a trainer and racing presenter on BBC TV, and Richard Johnson, who is currently lying second in the Jockey's Cham-pionship and also a Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle winner.
The evening will be chaired by racing correspondent of The Times Newspaper, Alan Lee.
As well as giving their views on the runners and riders at the following week's Cheltenham showpiece, panel members will be answering questions from the floor following a three-course meal.
The event is being organised in aid of The Old Church Project in Alveston and The Injured Jockeys' Fund. Anyone interested in attending should contact either Peter Woodhams on 01789 266845 or Jane Dodge on 01789 261033.
