Emma's ready to push boat out at sealife centre

COTSWOLD woman Emma Eden is getting ready to push the boat out on behalf of one of the south coast's leading visitor attractions.

The 22-year-old, who grew up in Moreton, and went to Chipping Campden School, has landed the job as marketing co-ordinator for Weymouth Sea Life Park.

Emma, who is still awaiting her degree result after four years of business studies at the University of the West of England in Bristol, takes charge of promoting the park's merits to tourists.

"I am really excited about it," said Emma. "I knew next to nothing about marine life, but I have already been introduced to everything from starfish to sharks, plus seals, otters and penguins.

"I love films, and one of my all-time favourites was Finding Nemo, which is another reason why working with sea creatures really appealed."

An early challenge for Emma will be to help spread the word about the Park's newest feature, a special exhibition christened AmaZone, which is teeming with piranhas, poisonous dart frogs and a host of rainforest creatures.
