New breed of world cup winners?

THE rugby World Cup took pride of place at a free summer holiday rugby session, which took place in Chipping Norton last week.

The cup, which England won last November in Australia, was on show at Chipping Norton Rugby Club during the session, which had been organised for local children by West Oxfordshire District Council.

Chris Johnson, sports facilities officer at West Oxfordshire District Council said: "It was great to see boys and girls taking part in tag rugby sessions at the Chipping Norton Rugby Club. The main part of the day was to have fun but getting a look at the Rugby World Cup brought a smile to everybody's face and made the day even more special.

"Our thanks go to all involved on the day especially Chipping Norton Rugby Club for providing a superb facility and carrying out the coaching sessions".
