MEMORIAL matches to remember the work of Brian Gee, who died earlier this year, will take place at Blockley on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30.
The action starts at 10.30am when there will be an Under-12s clash featuring some of the youngsters who benefited from Brian's tremendous hard work with the North Cotswold Young Cricketers Club.
A 20-over match for the over-12s is scheduled to start at 2pm at the Sparmoor sports ground and spectators will be able to take advantage of a pig roast, bar and other refreshments.
Anyone who knew Brian is warmly invited along to share what promises to be a special occasion.
Ebrington and Blockley will contest a memorial match at Sparmoor on Sunday when the winners will lift the Memorial Trophy
The club's presentation evening takes place on Fri-day, September 17.
