AN 84-year-old Bushley man has died after being involved in a traffic collision.
Frank Cox, better known as Bert was seriously injured when his silver Ford Escort was in a collision with a maroon Nissan Blue Bird.
The incident happened at the Oxhey Cross Roads, Bushley at 6.20pm on Monday, August 9.
Mr Cox was airlifted to Selly Oak hospital in Birmingham, but was later transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he died on Monday.
He had lived in Bushley all his life and leaves a wife, Hilda, who now lives in the Oxhey nursing home, and two sons.
