CCS rattle in the goals

THE three competing teams featuring in Tuesday's action in the Cotswold Floor-ball League all went home with some reward.

However, it was Chipping Campden School who went home the happier after recording two wins that realised a dozen goals and none conceded.

CCS defeated St Mary's 4-0 in the opener thanks to goals from Sammie Richardson, Sam Needham, Jack Bridges and Nick Hudson and they then doubled that margin of victory when easily overcoming a depleted Longborough side 8-0.

James Hicks (2), Ted Marks and Tom McDonough joined the earlier scorers on the scoresheet.

The two losers then locked horns and shared the soils after a goalless draw that could easily have ended 5-5 had it not been for the efforts of both goalkeepers.

Action in the C Division gets under way next Tuesday when Quinton, Shipston and Bredon will do battle.
