Sammie and Alice on hat-trick trail

TUESDAY night's matches in the Cotswold Floorball League resulted in a couple of easy victories for Chipping Campden School and a hard-earned one for Shipston.

CCS opened with a 9-1 drubbing of a novice Bredon Hill side, who never gave up and caused a minor stir by scoring through Alice Duke to make it 2-1.

Sammie Richardson had already scored twice for the senior school and she went on to complete her hat-trick - a feat matched by Alice Smith.

Jack Bridges, James Hicks and Ted Marks were also on target for the winners.

Shipston and Bredon Hill then fought out a tight game when the deciding factor was the two goals scored by Harry Barnard.

The same player scored first in Shipston's match against CCS, however big brother Jack soon scored two, backed up by Bridges, Jack McMullen, Richardson and a well-judged lob from Craig Weatherhead in a 6-1 triumph.

There's A Division action next week involving holders Dormer House, Ilmington, Temple Guiting and St Catharine's.
