The speaker, Tim Nunn, now serving as a chief inspector of police in Hastings, gave a talk in which he asked his audience to consider whether what we often see as coincidence is, in fact, the hand of God working in our lives. The theme was developed using illustrations from his daily life as a member of the police force. He also warmly commended the idea behind these periodic villagers' suppers saying that they personify the friendliness which he remembers as an essential part of this delightful village. Tim was thanked by Jayne Nicol who, is still actively involved in the youth project. read more
