Bredon

DRAMA GROUP: A local institution has come to an end as Bredon's Norton Drama Group, formed in 1956 by the late Joan Meadows, has been formally wound up. Plays used to be performed in Bredon's Norton Tithe Barn and latterly in the private theatre created at St Catherine's Farm by the late Doug Jackson. In addition to many charming plays and mimes enacted by local children, there were many plays and pantomimes performed by talented local people.

GARDENING CLUB: Will hold its first meeting of 2005 at Beckford Village Hall On January 26 at 7.30pm. The speaker will be Hilary Twigg, who will talk about Easy Rules of Pruning.
