Three players find the net

Chasewell Park 0,

Moreton Rgrs U-12 3

MORETON kept their hosts pinned in their own half for most of the first half and it was no surprise when after only five minutes the visitors scored.

After good work down the right by Robbie Shurmer and Harry Bates, the ball fell to James Hicks on the edge of the area from where he produced an overhead kick that the keeper handled over the line.

The second goal came after 20 minutes when Matty Magee beat three players down the right wing before picked out the onrushing Gary Luker with a perfect cross that he smashed home.

Chasewell started brightly in the second half but James Hicks, David Evans, Kyle Ellery and Robbie Shurmer kept them at bay leaving goalkeeper Max Outteridge virtually redundant.

After the opening ten minutes of the second half, Moreton's midfield of Luker, Tim Firth, Josh Kyte and Paul Whitehouse took control again and, allied to the movement up front, it was only a matter of time before the visitors struck again when Whitehouse put Magee clean through to round the keeper and slot home.
