Funeral date set for crash victims

THE funeral of a young Winchcombe mother and her three-year-old daughter, who died in a road accident, is due to take place tomorrow.

A service for Clair Robinson, aged 28, and Charlotte Butler will be held at St Peter's Church in Winchcombe at 11am.

The accident happened on Tuesday last week when Clair's Mitsubishi Pajero was in collision with a farm truck in Kineton, near Temple Guiting.

Clair lived on Bull Lane with her partner Neil Butler - Charlotte's father - and worked at Cleeve Hill Nursing Home. She also gave her time as a parent helper at the town's playgroup.

The family has asked that any donations are given to Winchcombe Playgroup or Winchcombe Fire Station via funeral director Selim Smith & Co of Cheltenham.

The playgroup is planning to remember Clair and Charlotte with a tree and plaque outside its Back Lane base.
