Evesham Utd 2,

Leckhampton A 1

UNITED ended Leckhampton's unbeaten sequence with a battling performance and goals from Michael Savidge and Dean Lee.

Only a couple of fine saves from Jordan Willis prevented Leckhampton from breaking the deadlock and it needed a wonder strike from Savidge to finally unhinge the visiting defence.

Lee made it 2-0 five minutes later but the match was back in the melting pot ten minutes from time when Ciaran Gilbert's handball on the line saw him dismissed and Evesham have their lead halved but they hung on gamely.

Lyppard Rgrs Reality 1

ELLIOTT Grady set the Robins on the way to victory with an early goal from Tim DiFranco's pass.

Lyppard levelled soon after the start of the second half but Evesham's response was instant as Thomas Garbett converted a cross from Andrew Townsend.

Rangers then hit a post before Grady's second goal clinched a second successive victory for the High School boys.

HENRY Woods rounded the goalkeeper to open Evesham's account after being set up by Louis Brown, who then threaded a pass for Elliot Grady to slot home.

Brown was again the provider as Woods made it 3-0 and the prolific striker then completed an early hat trick with a glancing header from a floated cross from Tom Evans.

Woods netted his fourth with Brown yet again the provider in what was proving a one-sided quarter-final clash.

Brown and James Bearcroft dominated the game from the middle and it was James Coldrick who scored next with a looping cross that eluded the keeper.

Sam Ford robbed a defender and finished well to make it 7-0 and Brown scored following one of the best passing moves of the game.

Grady breached the defence for United's ninth and Andrew Powell then saw his cross deflected into the net.

Scott Andrew and Colin Philpott had a couple of attacks to deal with before Grady completed his hat- trick.

Drakes Broughton Rgrs U-11 4,

Illmington 2

DRAKES Broughton carried on their good form with a hard earned win.

Daniel Wilcox almost broke the deadlock in the first half but his header hit the crossbar.

Rangers took the lead before half-time with goals from Wilcox and Andrew Fletcher only for Illmington to reduce the arrears with a fine shot as the half drew to a close.

Drakes dominated the second half when they added further goals from Joe Morrall and Tom Lloyd.

Illmington hit back with a second courtesy of a home side defender.
