Finalist assured

DEFFORD and Desford United will play host to fellow Evesham Sunday Lea-gue side Bretforton Sports Old Boys in the semi-final of the Worcestershire FA Minor Cup.

The tie guarantees a local representative in the final and it could be two should hosts Bredon get the better of Harriers Trust, conquerors of Hampton WMC in the last round.

The ties will take place on Sunday, February 27, the same morning that Ambas-sador bid for a place in the Junior Cup when they play host to Rednal Social.

This season's Saturday Minor Cup final will take place at Pershore Town FC on a date yet to be decided when Littleton's second string will lock horns with K S Athletic.
