Parking problem is top of agenda

RESIDENTS of a Cotswold village will tackle the issue of cars causing problems by parking up on the sides of roads.

The matter will be top of the agenda at Longborough's annual parish meeting next month.

Some residents have suggested that double yellow lines could be the solution.

Other villagers feel the parked cars do a service by slowing down traffic.

They also feel that the lines would spoil the picturesque village's appearance.

The parish meeting will be held in the village hall on Monday, March 14, and it starts at 7pm.
