PARISH COUNCIL: Village entrance - Details of the work to be carried out have been received from Halcrow, which is in agreement with the requirements of the parish council.

Planning - An application to increase the working hours at the recycling centre had been received. Letters from residents in Throckmorton Road, Lower Moor against the proposal had been sent to the county council. Cllr B Lampard is to write on behalf of the parish council on the understanding that there is no increase in the traffic to and from the site.

The matter of the footpath at Allen's Caravan Park was raised, where directions were not clear. Inquiries are to be made as to whether the deviated footpath at Allen's caravan site had received planning permission.

Volunteers are needed to clear the corner, next to Gibbs Close, on the playing field.

Improvements are to be made to the access in the public area at the recycling centre, which includes a trailer parking area. Wychavon environmental services are to begin a new initiative to start in the spring on the matter of flies, following the problem last year.

The new beat officer, PC Annie Hamer, is due to attend the next meeting tonight.
