Flying start for Michael

BIKE ace Michael Elliott of Honeybourne began his season in great style with two second places in the EMRA Club at Mallory Park at the weekend.

Michael, aged 17, said he had spent the previous season getting to know his GP125 Honda and added: "Getting two seconds at the beginning of this season was more than I expected and I'm really overjoyed."

His next event is the MRO National Cup at Brands Hatch on the weekend of March 19 and 20. Michael's sponsors this season are C&D Auto Services, Chapman-Tyrrell Racing and Barry Jeffery Transport of Mickleton. He is looking for other potential sponsors and can be contacted on 01386 831895.
