Honeybourne

WEDNESDAY CLUB: Members met on March 2 when Mrs M Boath presided.

Birthday cards were distributed after which two new members were welcomed, Mrs Chris Stanley and Mrs Doreen Mills.

There are still a few members on the sick list and they were wished a speedy recovery.

The trip to Hereford has been arranged for April 13, more details available next month.

The speaker for the afternoon was Nicholas Clark, Beckford who gave an interesting illustrated talk on his travels in Texas. Mrs Peggy Miller gave the vote of thanks.

Cakes for tea were donated by Mrs Crook, Mrs Sadler and Mrs Keen. Tea was served by Mrs Sylvia Matthews and helpers.

A floral arrangement was presented to Mrs Boath for all the work she does for the club and she replied accordingly.
