Littering the country

Parents and teachers up and down the land are endeavouring to instil high standards of personal behaviour and responsibility among young children. We decry the use of bad language or harmful images. So what does the Countryside Alliance do? It litters the roadsides with posters of foxes putting up two fingers to the world.

What sort of example is this? As long as so-called respectable organisations tolerate and promote the use of inappropriate images, the best efforts of parents and teachers will be thwarted. It is not, as the Countryside Alliance spokesperson described it, 'A bit of fun.' It is thoughtless, it is self-indulgent and it undermines the standards which all right-minded people support.

Please take your 'bit of fun' elsewhere.
