THERE was another good contingent of Cotswolds racers on the start line near Honiton in Devon for last weekend's second round of the QRA British Enduro Endurance Quad Racing Championships.
The three-hour Hare and Hounds event, staged on a woodland track, saw four Moreton-in-Marsh-based racers hoping to impress.
And that they did with brothers Michael and Henry Righton taking seventh and 12 th places out of a field of around 80 riders.
The latter would have finished higher had it not been for a puncture.
The remaining pair of intrepid drivers, Scott Pratley and Simon Whitworth crossed the line 28th and 29th respectively.
Travelling to the next round of the national championships won't be as arduous later this month when the event takes place at Manor Farm at Long Compton where the three-hour race is scheduled to get under way at 10am.
