Dealer lends support

SYDE Park Horse Trials has secured the support of Park-lands Audi - the Audi Centre covering Gloucester, Chelten-ham and all surrounding areas.

Now its eighth year of running, this year's event on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19 will feature classes for pre-novice, novice and intermediate horses.

These will encompass qualifying rounds of a number of important championships inclu-ding the Derby House novice owner rider, Patey Hats pre-novice and the regional final of the EHOA/Martin Collins British Eventing novice championship.

All classes will compete on a cross-country course designed by Mike Etherington-Smith who designed the course at Blenheim, home of this year's European Championships. Star-ting at 9am, the event will feature dressage, show jumping and cross-country.

The event attracts many well-known international riders and there will a number of interesting shops in the trade stand area as well as full catering facilities.

Syde Park is situated between Cheltenham and Cirencester and there will be a dedicated viewing car park for all Audi owners.
