Regatta makes big waves!

EVESHAM'S annual Regatta proved a huge success as 465 crews took part in last weekend's event racing over 1000 metres on Saturday and 500m the next day.

Clubs from all parts of London, the Midlands, the North and Wales were in action in the glorious sunshine and there were a mammoth 54 races on the course up stream finishing at the town bridge.

The host club recorded had ten wins on the Saturday and added eight more from the 66 events 24 hours later.

In addition to wins in Fours and Doubles, there were individual sculling successes for Alex Gregory (2), Ruth Whyman, Tom Most, Ben Farrar and Chris Sumner.
