Agony for Amby

THE Ambassador failed to become the second Evesham Sunday League side to lift a county trophy when they lost 3-1 to Mostyn Rangers in the WFA Junior Cup Final.

Staged at Bromsgrove Rovers, the Amby trailed by two goals but a second half strike from Neil Emms put the Vale side back in the tie.

However, moments later, Paul Edwards was allowed to skip through and complete his hat-trick and Mostyn Rangers, winners in 2003, had got their hands back on the county silverware.
