THE South Warwick-shire Bowls Association easily overcame hosts Cov-entry and District counterparts.

The visitors led by five chalks after five ends and the lead had stretched to 27 just five ends later.

Victory had been wra-pped up by the 15th end when the SWBA led 92-69 and a final scoreline of 143-84 amply illustrated the visiting side's superiority.

The highest winning rink comprised John Mahoney, Keith Ogil-vie, David Goodman and Neil Brereton, while the other winning skips were Ian Wilkins, Mal-colm George, Malcolm Welch and Bernard Gardner.
