MOTOR Racing comes to Fladbury - well, not quite, but the next best thing!
A talk and film show with unique Formula 1 films from the 1950s will be held at the Village Hall on Tuesday, May 31 from 8pm.
Jeremy Rivers-Fletcher, son of the late A F Rivers-Fletcher (Rivers) who was a well-known racer, writer, and authority on early post-war motor sport, is showing some of the original films that his father made about the re-birth of motor racing after World War Two.
Stirling Moss, the BRM team, amateur hill climbing and Norman Wisdom are all featured in the two-hour show.
Now living in Kineton, Jeremy and his wife Yve are both keen racers, currently campaigning a Royale 1600 on the midland hills, with success this year at Prescott and Loton Park Hill-climbs.
Although tickets can be bought on the door, a sell-out show is expected so places should be reserved by phoning Jeremy on 01926 642313 or by visiting his website www.rivers-fletcher.com
