Chance to take TT tester

CHIPPING Campden racer Andy Smith has been offered the chance to get back on board a sidecar at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

Smith has previously raced Classic sidecars before moving on to Formula 2 machines that catapulted him into the Euro-pean F1 circuit before retirement.

However, a telephone call from former partner Steve Norbury - the pair first raced together in 1997 - has given the Cotswolds man an opportunity to compete at the annual Manx extravaganza.

In order for Smith to get back on track he is desperately in need of sponsorship to finance equipment, transport and other associated costs and is hoping a local business might be able to help.
