Winners at double

NEIGHBOURS Chipping Campden provided the latest opposition for the men and women from Northwick who again emerged triumphant.

The ladies enjoyed success on two of the three rinks when recording a 58-36 win, while the men, thanks to a little female help, won three rinks out of the four in their match to register an 88-60 victory.

Results - Northwick Ladies 58, Chipping Campden 36: Tilly Pearson, Mary Graham, Barbara Prew won 19-15. Lesley Keyte, Brenda Moulder, Joan Parnell won 28-5. Elsie Braddock, Brenda Shepherd, Barbara Disley lost 16-11.

Northwick Men 88, Chipping Campden 60: Tony Drinkwater, Chris Adams, Ian Sollis, Alan Cother won 22-19. Stuart Dyer, Edgar Emms, Colin Disley, Alfie Pearson lost 16-14. Alec Shepherd, Roy Croft, C Pearson, Geoff Foster won 26-12. B Moulder, R Tomes, B Prew, L Moulder won 26-13.
