Late rally leaves ladies the losers

FOUR hotly contested rinks resulted in Evesham's ladies losing out at Littleton after a titanic Concorde League struggle.

The visitors led by 14 shots at halfway and still had the same cushion with just two ends remaining.

However, Littleton produced a late rally to claw back 15 shots on the last two ends to claim the win by a solitary shot.

Evesham won on two rink by one shots but lost by the same margin on another rink and by two shots on the fourth.
