Power in the Park

PAXFORD Garage owner Clive Wadey made a return back to his favourite circuit at Mallory Park last weekend.

In the first race Wadey was on the second row of the grid with his close rival Nigel Lawrence on the front.

The first start was called back as Lawrence jumped the tape but at the restart he got the whole shot into the first corner with Wadey right on his tail.

The pair swapped positions three or four times during the ten-mile race with Wadey pushing so hard for the lead that Lawrence broke the lap record in taking the win by half-a-bike length.

In the second race Wadey made a good start and led from start to finish to take the chequered flag three seconds ahead of his closest competitor.
