Simon's spill

WICKHAMFORD racer Simon Andrews suffered further disappointment in the British Superstock Championships at Snetterton last weekend.

Having recently returned to the saddle after injury, the Vale ace was hit by mechanical problems when his TAS Suzuki developed an electrical fault on only the second lap of Sunday's race.

"What can I say, these things happen," Andrews lamented ahead of a trip to Ireland this week when he was hoping a win at an invitation event could kickstart his season.
