AN exhibition to mark the 60th anniversary of the ending of the Second World War has been opened in the Elmbury Room at Tewkesbury town library.
The display features research undertaken by year nine pupils of Tewkesbury School's history department and by Tewkesbury Historical Society concerning the servicemen and women from Tewkesbury and surrounding villages.
Society president John Dixon said they were still keen to gather information of a W Booth, the only serviceman whose war record has not been traced.
Admission to the exhibition is free and it will remain open until next Wednesday.
