A HUNDRED years of education has been marked at centenary celebrations at a Chipping Norton School.
MP David Cameron and Kevin Whately, better known as Lewis from Inspector Morse and Neville in Auf Wiedersehen Pet, joined in the festivities at Penhurst School on Saturday.
Visitors flocked to the event in New Street to enjoy the attractions which included music from the Chipping Norton Silver Band, maypole dancing and face painting. There were also dance displays from Chipping Norton School of Dance, a barbecue, coconut shy and raffle.
School spokeswoman Denise Macrae said: "The centenary celebration proved a huge success. Around 100 people attended the event to mark the occasion."
