DRAMA GROUP: A local institution has come to an end as Bredon's Norton Drama Group, formed in 1956 by the late Joan Meadows, has been formally wound up. Plays used to be performed in Bredon's Norton Tithe Barn and latterly in the private theatre created at St Catherine's Farm by the late Doug Jackson. In addition to many charming plays and mimes enacted by local children, there were many plays and pantomimes performed by talented local people. read more
GOOD FOOD LUNCH CLUB: Twenty seven people attended the traditional mini lunch at the Lifford Hall. After taking into account donations, £140 was raised for the Willow Stroke Unit at Evesham Hospital. read more
CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT FELLOWSHIP: Evesham group's Christmas social morning on December 14 was the last meeting to be held at Evesham Library. There was a good attendance and members enjoyed the buffet provided by the committee, lively conversation, a picture quiz and raffle. read more
