SIX goals amazingly weren't enough to bring Stratford Alliance success for Badsey Rangers Reserves and Dog and Pheasant.

The Herald Division Two sides featured in an amazing game of 12 goals last Saturday and both had to settle for a point apiece with Mark Skelcher's hat-trick in vain for the hosts.

Treble hauls from Sam Huckvale and James Cooper were, however, sufficient to help Littleton and Studley Nags Head to maximum points in the same section at the expense of Shipston and Cubbington respectively.

Dave Woolcock netted twice as FISSC won comfortably at Henley while goals from Graham Hemming and Ben Greenwood boosted Swan Inn's promotion hopes at Halfords.

Only two matches survived in Aquaid Division One where Ben Adshead and Tom Wale both netted twice as Henley Forest won 6-1 at Alce-ster Lions.

Badsey United boasted a quartet of different marksman in a 4-1 home win over Halfords.

Steve Cross and Rob Vick both hit hat-tricks as Blockley Sports inflicted further Cutler Division Three misery on Welford but Tysoe continued their move away from the foot of the division after James Anderson-Barr's double in a 3-2 defeat of Bidford's second string.

Badsey United completed a club double as the second team won 3-2 at Red Alert with Mark Richards netting twice for the winners.

Mike Walker did likewise as Henley A won 5-2 at Ilmington and two from Paul Gibson helped FISSC defeat Inkberrow 3-1.

Dan Valentino grabbed the only goal as Welford overcame Quinton Reserves.
