Sorcery and a magic carpet

ALADDIN'S magic carpet is flying in to Cheltenham next week bringing pantomime fun to the Playhouse.

This year's family Christmas entertainment has a huge array of colourful characters including the Princess Honeysuckle, who won't be happy marrying any old prince (she has four days to find one), her father the Sultan who also has high hopes for her and the evil sorcerer who wants to marry Honeysuckle himself in order to get all the power.

With the help of silly soldiers, a magical Genie and a star-searching Dame, can the wedding be saved in time and who can save it?

The pantomime has been written and directed by Annie Ellis for Cheltenham Little Theatre. It has audience participation and plenty of songs with well-known tunes, music, jokes, fun and laughter.

It runs from Saturday until Christmas Eve. Tickets are £9 with concessions.
