My faith is restored

LAST Friday my wife and I called in at Evesham shopping centre, where she left her handbag in the toilet and found it gone only minutes later.

She was understandably upset, so I left her in the Lantern restaurant while I visited the security office. The bag had been found, minus her purse and mobile phone.

I used my phone to cancel her cards, and a lady leaving the restaurant, came to our table and saying how sorry she was, then slipped £20 into my wife's hand.

We were so surprised and touched by this gesture that we didn't get a chance to say that we could bear this loss!

I hope you can publish these details, and that our kind-hearted lady reads this, and knows how much we appreciated her very generous action.

It is nice to have one's faith in people restored, especially at this season of the year.
