INTEREST AND LEISURE CLUB: The last meeting for the year 2005 was a very light-hearted one which took place in the Royal British Legion Hall on December 7.

The entertainment was provided by J J Weaver with his guitar and consul. Half-way through the afternoon there was a break for refreshments - tea mince pies and delicious home made cakes made by Jean Baldwin and Mary Graham.

More musical entertainment including dancing followed. Also there were many raffle prizes won. The afternoon was arranged by Colin Hancox and members agreed that it was very enjoyable. The next event will be the carol concert at the Fire College next Wednesday, December 21.
