KNIFE-WIELDING robbers frightened staff in a Tewkesbury betting shop into handing over large quantities of cash in a Boxing Day raid.
They entered Ladbroke Racing in the High Street at about 4.45pm and threatened the two women on duty with knives.
They stole a large quantity of cash from the safe and left the two women badly shaken but unharmed.
The robbers are described as being white and of Eastern European appearance. Both were about 5ft 8in and of slim build.
One had a pointy chin, and very thick, messy, jaw-length hair and was very tanned.
The other was less tanned and wore a dark hoody and tracksuit trousers.
He wore a woolly hat with a silver logo under the hood.
Ladbroke spokesman Kieran O'Brien said: "We are liaising with the police to try and catch these criminals and bring them to book."
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any other information, to contact them on 0845 090 1234
