Unwanted kit put to use

AT the start of the season, Bredon Buzzards Junior Rugby Club made a collection of boots, shirts and other paraphernalia.

The idea was to donate it to SOS IRB Kit Aid - a charity that distributes used rugby equipment to clubs and schools in Eastern Europe and throughout the world to support the playing of junior rugby.

Callum Potter, who organised the collection said: "I had a box of old boots that my sons had grown out of and wanted to do something with them, rather than just bin them.

"On doing some Internet searching I came across Kit Aid. Organising a club collection is really easy, and I would urge all clubs to do the same."
