Tigers handle cold conditions

Tewkesbury Tigers U-12 42pts, Bromyard 0

THE Tigers attacked again and again with excellent handling moves in cold wet and muddy conditions.

Ryan William Everitt opened the scoring with the first of his two tries, while Sam Gaisford added two more.

Olly Francis scored a close-range charge down effort and Amy Killick rounded off an excellent all-round team performance with a strong run for her first try for the Tigers. Tom Allcoat converted all the tries.

Tewkesbury Tigers U-10 35pts, Bromyard 20

THE Under-10s roared to their first victory of the season as their much improved attacking play paid off.

There were four tries for Dale Mitton, two for Chris Davies and one by Elliot Cash.

The club's Under-8 tag players were also in action at Bromyard where they made it a clean sweep with a 10-9 victory.

Bredon Buzzards U-13 22pts, Hereford 17

BREDON started the match at a high tempo and were rewarded after ten minutes when scrum-half Ross Attwood crossed.

Winger Chris Saxby added another, converted by Scott Bunch, only for Hereford to claw their way back into the game with a try before half-time.

The visitors came out strongly at the start of the second half and soon clocked up two tries and one conversion to take the lead.

Home heads didn't drop and Saxby scored a second try before Louis Wones did likewise to secure the crucial final score.
