WEDNESDAY CLUB: The annual dinner and AGM was held on February 1 at the Round of Gras, Badsey. Mrs Boath welcomed the members.

The treasurer, Mrs Olwen Humphries submitted the balance sheet and again it is in a very healthy state. Various outings during the year proved a great success also the monthly programmes were entertaining. Mrs Pat Robinson, the oldest member had just celebrated her 90th birthday and was presented with a floral arrangement from the club and she replied accordingly. The free raffle organised by Mrs Humphries and Mrs Innes was appreciated by all and thanks went to those ladies for arranging this event.
