A laugh a minute with top stars of stand-up

COME along with your friends and enjoy two hours of top stand-up from Jongleurs, with the biggest and brightest stars on the comedy circuit.

Mark Walker, Mick Ferry and Mike Milligan, some of today's top names on the circuit will be appearing on stage in the Forum Theatre with Simon Clayton as MC.

Mark Walker is a laugh to behold, a hoot, a honk, a blast! This colourful enigmatic nomad was born in Ireland. He then moved to, and throughout the north of England where he was last seen fronting a pub rock band by night, and working as a pebble dasher by day in Grimsby. He now finds himself living in London and working the comedy circuit.

Mick Ferry is well known as a fine purveyor of lugubrious surrealism and has appeared as a stand-up comedian all over the country. With Owen Rankin and Peter Slater he is one of the bizarre comedy trio Dr Strangehair, who have won plaudits from many newspapers for their zany sketches, and offbeat humour littered with pop culture references. They were recently asked to accompany Badly Drawn Boy on tour and are constantly recommended by City Life Magazine.

Mike Milligan is a well-established act, with many years experience on the national comedy circuit and regular appearances at The Comedy Store and Jongleurs' clubs. Mike has written and performed for TV and radio, including Spender, Byker Grove, BBC's Ross King Show, Radio 4's Afternoon Shift and Weekending and The Paddy Kielty Show.

On stage Simon Clayton talks about what he is - male, fat, mixed race, married, balding and anything else that currently makes him laugh. He has toured the country with his stand-up comedy act, regularly appearing at the Comedy Store and as a guest improviser with top comedy improv team,
