MUSIC fans with an eclectic taste should get themselves down to Huntingdon Hall and the Swan Theatre in April to enjoy a varied range of rare talent.
Tickled Pink who have been together for seventeen years are visiting Worcester on Friday, April 21 to beat out their own brand of traditional folk music with a rocky edge.
Known for their energetic stage performances, the group formed in 1989, originally as a ceilidh band to act as an alternative to country dance bands around at the time and revel in being labelled as different from more traditional folk rock bands.
After a few line up changes they took on the UK festival scene and have now appeared in a number of events, most notably the Glastonbury Festival, as well as Sidmouth, Towersey, Chippenham and Cambridge.
The following evening takes a whole new direction as a group comes to Huntingdon Hall to perform one of Mozart's famous works to mark the legendary composer's 250th birthday year.
The Bochmann Quartet will play his marvellous Dissonance Quartet and will be joined by clarinettist Steve Moss to take part in what has been described as 'the most sublime chamber work ever written.
Finally in the Swan Theatre on Sunday, April 23, a concert by John Banner will give visitors a chance to be patriotic.
The St George's Day Charity Concert compered by John himself and his sidekick JR, will send shivers down the spine with the Worcester Male Voice Choir and the Crown Phoenix Big Band belting out many traditional favourites.
