Trailer overturns

MOTORISTS travelling along the A44 near Broadway this week faced delays after an articulated lorry's trailer became disconnected from the cab and toppled over.

The red and white Scania lorry toppled onto the A44/B4632 roundabout just after 1.30pm on Tuesday without causing damage to any other vehicles. The driver was unhurt.

West Mercia police closed the roads and put diversions in place at the top of Fish Hill while the vehicle was recovered. The road was reopened at 7.34pm.
