Ron's on top at the Farm

Evesham and District Disabled AC

SIXTEEN members met up at Cranhill Farm for another round of the Nigel Howe Spr-ing League.

Ron Williams emerged victorious in the rain with a winning weight of 7.8.0, narrowly seeing off the challenge of Antony Icke (7.7.0). Gavin Griffiths (5.15.0) was third and Jerry Akerman (5.8.0) fourth.

Griffiths has been handed the honour of captaining Eves-ham's junior team for a forthcoming contest.

The club's next match will take place at Jim's Lake with the draw at the usual time of 8am.

Evesham Jubilee Society

THE Fishery reopens on Monday and there will be an Open match at the venue on Saturday, May 6.

Phil's Pool is the venue with fishing for five hours following the draw at 9am. Book in with Phil on 01386 46941 or John on 41273, all are welcome.

The following day there is a 'maintenance morning' and all members are asked to gather with relevant equipment from 9am.

Members are also reminded that annual subscriptions are due on Monday and should be paid to either the treasurer Graham Mytton or chairman John Davis.
