Leckhampton Rvrs A 1,
Broadway U-11 8
BROADWAY clinched the Cheltenham Youth League title in emphatic fashion as they took their season's goal tally to a massive 162.
The new champions have only failed to win on one occasion and their final game was always going to end in United's favour despite their now customary slow start.
After Rovers had gone close, Broadway took the lead when Sam Jinks netted after a fine pass from Chris Greenwell.
The scorer turned provider later in the half as his pass allowed Charlie Stock to double Broadway's lead and the visitors were now a far more relaxed outfit and further goals from Jinks and an own goal swiftly doubled their advantage.
Broadway were now producing some of their best football of the season and jack Hunston was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after a six-man move ended with the ball striking a post.
However, Stock made it five before half-time after which Rovers replied with a well-taken header. The revival was shortlived when Sean Cooke's clinical finish made it 6-1 and two further strikes from Connor Hensey sealed another stunning display.
Gotherington 2,
Evesham Utd U-12 3
HAVING suffered an early morning defeat to Bredon Colts in the Ambas-sador Under-13 Cup Final, there was little time for rest for the Evesham young- sters against the team that had denied them the C & G league last season.
History looked to be repeating itself when, despite playing the better football, two quick breaks say the visitors trailing 2-0 at half-time.
With 13 minutes left on the clock, Henry Woods clawed one back, flicking the ball over the in-form home keeper after Elliot Grady had set him up.
Legs running on empty suddenly had life in them and Evesham started to look more dangerous.
A Harrison Cother cross was cleared out of the six-yard box, but only as far as Bryn Tomes who volleyed home from 25 yards.
It was now game on as Cother caused more bother down the right and crossed for Woods to beat a defender and fire in the winner.
Badsey Rgrs U-11 11,
Bourton Rvrs 1
BADSEY'S final C & G league game saw them run out emphatic winners and secure a top six finish.
James Schembri opened the scoring but it was player of the match Jonathan Bell who took the first half honours with a four-goal salvo that owed plenty to the wing play of Luke Richardson and Alex Trotman.
Jack Milward's strike then made it 6-0 at the break after which there was more of the same with Schembri completing his hat-trick, Milward grabbing his second and Tom Attwood and Kieran Court also finding the net.
Ilmington 1, Badsey Rgrs U-10 7
RANGERS sealed the Ambassador League championship with an outstanding display with player of the match Matty Andrew completing his hat-trick in the last minute to cap a fine team and individual display.
Andrew opened the scoring early on and it was 2-0 when Calum Grieve netted.
Only excellent goalkeeping kept the margin to two at the break but three goals soon after the restart left Badsey in firm control.
Ryan Dixon netted twice and Andrew scored his second before setting up Dixon's third a feat the provider matched in the final minute.
