ROYAL BRITISH LEGION: The women's section held their April meeting in the Betteridge room. Names were taken of members wishing to attend the group meeting in Badsey. After the business, Marie Gladstone gave a talk entitled Arabian Hospitality. Marie was thanked by Mrs P Kearsey.

Hostesses were Mrs V Dibden, Mrs Gregg and Mrs Crowther.

The monthly prize was won by Mrs J Lampitt.

The next meeting will be on May 3 when the speaker will talk on the Worcester Barn Owl Society.

Hostesses will be Mrs T Holder, Mrs P Holder and Mrs S James. The monthly prize was won by Mrs S James.
