ARTS AND CRAFTS SOCIETY: The society enjoyed a talk with slides on Medieval Marble and Alabaster by Tim Porter. Members learned about the introduction and uses of these materials illustrated by slides of cathedrals and churches.

The subject on May 16 is Bird and Landscape Paintings by Robin Reckitt, and on June 20 Clare Jennings will explore the Magic of Oriental Rugs. The society meets at the Townsend Hall at 7.30pm on every third Tuesday of the month. Visitors are welcome.
