Armies end on a high

Tewkesbury Trophies Pool League

THE final of the Consolation Cup brought the curtain down on the league season last weekend.

Old rivals Armies and Formula 1 locked horns in what was a surprisingly one-sided contest that saw the former claim an 8-2 triumph.

The league's annual general meeting takes place on Sunday, May 21 at Double Ds Snooker Club starting at 7.30pm and any new teams interested in entering the league next season are asked to come along on the night.
